Starting out life originally as a golf club, it was converted into a wedding venue a few years ago and is now known as one of Cheshire’s finest places to tie the knot. One of its key features is its huge floor-to-ceiling windows that adorn the Ladybird Room and Acorn Lounge. They allow in tons of natural light and create a lovely fresh atmosphere that is perfect for photos and your The Oak Tree Of Peover wedding film.
Complete with a lake and thoughtful landscaping, The Oak Tree Of Peover provides a luxurious backdrop for weddings. Accommodating up to 180 guests, it has a dedicated and fantastic team of staff who are always on hand to ensure your big day runs as smoothly as possible.
A Rustic Retreat – The Oak Tree Of Peover
There are multiple licensed locations for where ceremonies can be held at the venue. In the warmer months, the Pavilion provides a beautiful setting for outdoor ceremonies. Indoor weddings can be held in either The Ladybird Room or The Acorn Lounge, each boasting exposed oak beams and handmade wooden benches that remind me of the ceremony spaces at Sandhole Oak Barn and The Holford Estate. They’re perfect for your guests to sit on as they watch you say “I Do” and all adds to the rustic charm of the place!
For me The Acorn Room has to be the standout feature of The Oak Tree of Peover. It can hold both ceremonies and wedding breakfasts and is always beautifully decorated with thousands of fairy lights. They fill the room with a warm magical glow. The Ladybird Room takes its name from an influx of ladybirds that appeared in the venue during its recent construction. Ladybirds are known as a good luck charm so the owners saw it only fitting to name the new ceremony room after them!

The lovely flagstoned terrace is a great spot for guests to enjoy their celebratory drinks and canapés. For larger weddings, a tipi or marquee can even be set up in the grounds to make the most of The Oak Tree’s natural beauty. One of my favourite features is a huge open fireplace that always sets a cosy tone and is perfect for winter weddings. The Oak Tree of Peover also includes a comfortable wood-panelled bridal suite. It comes complete with a full-length mirror to ensure those finishing touches are just right.
