One Of Liverpool’s Best Wedding Venues

Oh Me Oh My is one of Liverpool’s top wedding venues, offering a unique and charming space for couples to hold their wedding reception. I love shooting Oh Me Oh My wedding videos and it is my favourite venue in Liverpool. Housed in a former bank, it is a wonderful secret space and it offers some of the best views in the city.

It can host wedding parties of a variety of sizes and is ran by wonderful staff who are always on hand to ensure everything runs as planned. With a beautiful light and airy atmosphere, stunning decor, and a fantastic city centre location, Oh Me Oh My is the perfect location for a celebration to remember.

An Iconic Setting

Oh Me Oh My occupies West Africa House and sits opposite the city’s iconic Three Graces on the banks of the River Mersey. The building dates back to the 1920s and was built by the renowned Liverpool architects Briggs, Wolstenholme and Thorley. In 2013, the building’s former glory was restored when it was stumbled upon by the LEAF Group. With a vision for a grand teahouse by day and a quirky event space by night, work began on the space and it was transformed into Oh Me Oh My.

It’s a versatile venue that is perfect for both large and small weddings. The venue doesn’t hold a license for ceremonies however Liverpool Town Hall and St George’s Hall are both within walking distance and are popular choices for vow exchanges. Liverpool has such a great selection of venues nowadays with Sefton Park Palm House being another of my favourite north west spots.

An Oh Me Oh My Wedding Videographer

In the same way The Midland Hotel does in Manchester, one of the great aspects of this venue is how it makes the most of its city centre location by incorporating the surrounding Liverpool City Centre into the wedding day. The nearby Hope Street is a great spot for some fun urban portraits and the Goodness Gracious Roof Garden which sits on the 8th floor offers stunning panoramic views of the city and docks. It is also almost eye-level with the Liver Building’s clockface which makes an incredible backdrop for photos and videos!

Each wedding is tailored to every couple and the venue is always beautifully dressed to match individual styles and tastes. With huge high ceilings, an abundance of fairy lights and glittering candles, Oh Me Oh My never fails to create an impressive yet relaxed atmosphere for each of its weddings. Get in touch with them to check their availability for your dates. The staff always go the extra mile to ensure there is a variety of unique little touches throughout making it the perfect choice for those who want a quirky Liverpool wedding!
