A Look Back in Time
Iscoyd Park has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. The stunning Georgian country house was originally built as a family home and was bought by Philip Lake Godsal in 1843 for £12,500. It has remained in the Godsal family ever since. As it was passed down through the generations, various renovations and additions were made to the property. The house was even used as a 1,500-bed hospital for United States Forces during the Second World War.
The estate was inherited by Philip Langley and his wife Susie in the mid-2000’s. After much discussion they decided to undertake a huge renovation project to transform the house into a wedding venue. The work was completed in May 2010 and Iscoyd Park still remains under their stewardship today!
Weddings At Iscoyd Park
Philip and Susie’s work on the house has certainly paid off as Iscoyd Park is now a very popular wedding venue. Along with the main house, Iscoyd Park also boasts beautifully-kept grounds and a large wedding reception marquee. The tall sash windows and airy light create a bright and spacious atmosphere and the intimacy and elegance of Iscoyd Park can be felt the moment you walk through it’s doors. The venue offers a range of elegant drawing rooms, each with its own unique character. They have all been lovingly restored to help create the Iscoyd Park magic and share similarities with other stately home venues like Browsholme Hall and Capesthorne Hall. The stunning grounds are the perfect backdrop for your special day and guests can even enjoy a game of croquet on the lawns! For those looking to make a weekend of it, the venue offers 14 beautifully restored bedrooms for your guests to enjoy.

A Summer Iscoyd Park Wedding Video
Claire and David’s wedding at the stunning Iscoyd Park was a spectacular day from start to end. The couple had booked me over a year in advance and it was evident from the off that they were ready for the biggest day of their lives! I arrived at the venue early in the morning and prep was well already underway. The idyllic gardens and rolling hills of Iscoyd Park always offer a stunning backdrop and help in building the morning suspense.
The ceremony had a wonderfully intimate vibe with Claire and David exchanging vows in the company of their closest family and friends. After dinner it was time to open the dance floor – the band were absolutely incredible! Their lively melodies kept the party in full swing and it was an absolute buzz to be in and amongst it all. Their guests were really up for a party and they carried on well into the wee hours of the morning!
Tthe couple spared no expense in realising their vision for their perfect day and it was unreal to see all their planning come together. Thank you both for allowing me the honour to be there with you!

A Luxury Iscoyd Park Wedding Video
Lucy and David’s big day was an all-out old-school glamour affair that was both fun and relaxed. With Lucy originally being from the States, the couple decided to choose the beautiful Iscoyd Park and it’s surrounding British countryside as the backdrop for their nuptials.
Lucy and David exchanged their vows on the beautifully kept lawn of Iscoyd Park and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Lucy looked stunning in a classic white gown with her hair expertly styled in soft waves. The reception was held in Iscoyd’s gorgeous marquee, where the couple and their guests danced well into the early hours. The atmosphere was absolutely electric yet it managed to still keep hold of the intimate vibe from earlier on in the day.
Despite the beauty of the setting, Lucy and David were never going to be upstaged by anything. They were quite simply the stars of the show, and I hope their wedding video captured the joy and excitement of their guests on the day. Thank you again to Lucy and David for having me and I wish them both the very best as they begin the rest of their lives together!
