The former home of Michael and Suzanne Irlam and their daughter Hattie, the Manor was recently renovated to transform it into a wedding venue and has retained many of its unique features including its original arched oak doors. The Irlams continue to run the venue today and have experience in hosting literally thousands of weddings over the years, so you’re in very safe hands! Bring Your Wedding Vision To Life At Merrydale Manor
When you first arrive at Merrydale Manor you simply can’t fail to be wowed. A sweeping driveway leads up to the main house, which sits amidst impeccably maintained grounds. Bridal preparations take place in the elegant Manor house itself whilst The Cave is a dedicated area for the groom and groomsmen to relax before the ceremony. It’s the ultimate man cave and contains vintage arcade games, table football, a fully stocked complimentary beer fridge and a huge TV!
The Ceremony Room is a beautiful wooden barn that hosts the ceremonies. It’s the perfect setting for exchanging your vows with limestone floors, wooden ceilings and plenty of natural light. One of my favourite parts of the venue is the Merrydale Suite and Bar. This stunning space plays host to Merrydale Manor’s wedding breakfasts and evening receptions and is adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the beautiful courtyard gardens just outside. It’s a huge space that has been designed to perfection. One of its main focal points is a beautiful large chandelier just beneath the top table!

A serene lake that sits just outside of the Manor House is a fantastic spot for couples’ portraits. The sunsets you are able to capture at this venue really are superb thanks to the unspoilt landscape that surrounds the estate. The Courtyard Rooms also provide comfortable accommodation and offer 10 beautiful bedrooms for you and your guests. Each room even has a completely different view out onto the grounds!
